They have something for everyone and it is a one stop shop for christmas gifts, they have so much to choose from and can also take custom orders for some things! Okay , Kristin is making me update my blog, i know i neglect my poor blog. But by the time i sit down and update the ChaNikki blog, edit some pictures, and work on other things i am either too tired or too busy. so eventually i'll probably just merge the two and my clients will just have to put up with a boring bit about my life or little boy every now and then.( not that i think my life or little boy is boring but if you come to see pictures you may not care that we went to the pumpkin patch or hada great halloween party for example) LOL anyway, you get the point,....so anyway here is amy update, been super busy with pictures and editing lately, the autumn street fair really paid off and got our name out there some....my mom has a blog now check it out at forevercharming.blogspot.com she sells slider beads, similar to pandora and they are sterling silver and available at etc on main for 10 and 12 dollars....been working with etc on some marketing materials, cards, etc. haha etc... get it? mmmm got a new laptop LOVE IT.. love being in the same room kacen is and not worrying about him sneaking and turning off modem while i'm in the middle of editing lol see this is us right now

he just thinks he can read every little thing i tyype and we can snuggle up together while i work mmmm just love him. and yes, if your saying her child is up at 11 pm, yes he is LOL i know i've been so busy we have really got him off schedule but oh well. We'll make it. hmmmm what else, we are having a halloween party for the kids halloween night, tons of games, candy, hayride, weenie roast.... so stop on by the barn and join the fun if i forgot to invite ya lol.. Lets see moving on, what else? Oh yeah Kristins bout to pop and the closer i get to seeing Anden it makes me want another baby, but I don't think right now is a good time, i'm so busy and want to give Kacen all the attention i can till he gets a little older....and he LOVES his attention.oh yeah and my shih-tzu had 4 puppies last tuesday theyre like little halmsters. SO CUTE. Been working on costumes, we are all going as cavemen, Kacen is getting chesthair and unibrow and all LOL too cool, i'll post pics later, we have a party to attend tomorrow as well....my family loves dressing up at halloween can you tell? we have a party to go to like every weekend lol. got another wedding to do in April, exctied bout that.......Kacen will be two next month so i got to start party planning, his uncle dustin is coming to entertain as a clown..my how time flies i literally remember bringing him home and it felt like just yesterday how i would just sit and look at him all day long, like you never get tired of looking at your baby. he's getting good at talking and loves to sing and dance and his fave song is twinkle twinkle little star...but we like to sing it with funny deep voices and he cracks me up, he is such an entertainer and loves to be the center of attention, he loves to give kisses now and i'll find him standin over me in the morning wit his lips all puckered up and him making smooch sounds for a kiss i absolutely love that it is the best feeling anyone could have to have a little boy who loves his mommy so much and i love him more than words can express....i better stop cause i'll be crying all night lol anyway you get it .....i love my katerbug to the moon and back! well i guess that bout covers it . Oh and he has fell asleep, my blogging must bore him lol oh and i forgot to tell ya bout our triop to pumpkin patch so after i edit trip photos i'll post about it, we got some great shots of kacen and his cousin hayden playing there

Baby slings available to fit any size, come in many colors and are reversable and machine washable, 100% cotton, I charge $27 and the only place i have found these sold in town are over $60! These are identical and specially made to your wants and needs. Each one is triple seamed to ensure it will hold up with larger babies, they support babies/toddlers to over 25 pounds, my son is 28 pounds and i use one to carry him on my hip. Great for breastfeeding, showers, colicky babies, and outings so you aren't pushing a heavy stroller the whole time. These are just a few of the patterns i have available right now but can get just about anything you are looking for. There are also about 5 different ways to wear your little one with these!

So the tutus turned out great! These are great for Halloween costumes, portrait sessions and are available in any size. All I need is a measurement of your little one's waist. The left one is in a newborn size and they are $15 and the the one on the right will fit a 18 month to 3 year old and has double the tulle which means it is extra full and they are available for $20. You can also choose to personalize your tutu with flowers, glitter, jewels and much more. More tutus for Halloween costumes coming soon!! Avavilabe in any color or choice of many colors.

And call me a bad mother for dressing my son in a tutu but hey it was only like 5 minutes and girls are hard to come by at this house LOL. As soon as the studio is up and running I will probably have a giveaway for a 30 minute session in one of my tutus for modeling purposes so be on the lookout!

9 days in Indian Shores FL and we were ready to come home LOL. Kacen was great the whole time and during the ride which I was worried about.Kacen's favorite thing to do was chase the birds, he would look at me like "All i want to do in life is catch one of these dang birds" LOL. My favorite part of course was taking pictures of sunsets, animals, and of course my baby boy! We went on a dolphin/shelling cruise and it was so much fun, Kacen kept trying to climb over me to

get to the captains wheel though LOL. We also ate lots of great food, and had our daily routine of breakfast the to the beach for a few hours till Kacen was ready for nap. Oh and on the first day down to the beach, we saw a baby sea turtle and i found a sand dollar, i was so excited!!! And of course i have lots of pictures to post! Besides the turtle, we saw lots of crabs and so many sting rays. They must have been migrating because there would be schools of like 50 go by every 30 minutes or so on one day. So we just stayed on the beach that day needless to say. And we saw dolphins too! We caught some fish and a couple small sharks and had alot of fun. Oh and ding dong me didn't have my good camera on the dolphin trip so this is all i got of the dolphins! LOL

So, these last few weeks I've been super busy with pictures, I am so happy to be doing so well and staying busy. I never thought that in just a few months to already have so many customers and my name is already getting spread by word of mouth. I am so happy to be doing what I love! Oh and please comment on what you think about my new logo!

In spite of being so busy with sessions and editing, we've been pretty busy living it up too. This weekend we went to the house boat and Kacen loved it as always, he was jumping straight off the dock into the water, i can't believe he can already swim and isn't afraid of the water at all! We went Sat. night to the Smithville Jamboree for a while until it started raining, then went back to the boat. And that morning we took Kacen to the Midway baby show and dropped off some certificates for all the winners for ChaNikki Imagery! Hope they like em!

Friday we're going to Lake Winnie, hopefully Kacen will like it, not sure how he will do with rides, he hates the ones at wal-mart LOL but hopefully after he sees his cousins on some he'll be ok with it. He's usually not scared of anything so maybe he'll warm up to it.

Then next Friday it's off to Clearwater FL for 9 days! AWWWW I can't wait to take Kacen's picture at the beach and let him see the ocean, he'll LOVE it!!! I have so much to do before then though!!!EEEKKK!

In Memory Of Brandon Steakley

Yesterday we celebrated what would have been my cousins 22nd birthday. He passed away in 2005 and we always go to his grave on his birthday and release balloons in his memory. He is having some tests run at St. Thomas today. He has had heart problems for a few years now and two weeks ago he was having a colonoscopy done and the anasthesia made his heart stop. Today they are going to have to put him to sleep again and possibly again tomorrow. So please pray for his heart to stay strong and everything go good. At least he will be in a major hospital this time.

So, this week has started of a little rocky. Kacen had to go to the dr monday and has the crud and of course so do I now. Got home from the dr and my dad came to look at our plumbing and had to have our septic tank pumped because it was full of roots. But this weekend is going to be beautiful and we are planning on taking a trip to the Nashville Zoo! I'm so excited and I know Kacen will love it! Hopefully we'll be feeling better by then. Then it's off to the houseboat Saturday night!

It's so nice to hear good things about your work when you try your hardest and are so passionate about it. I got a phone call this morning from Kristin and her mom, Melanie Ward, who is also a photographer who does excellent work. I almost teared up when she told me she thought photography was my calling. Talk about a big ego now! lol JK. That has T-Totally made my day, no, my week! It felt so good to hear that coming from another artists mouth and I just wanted to say Thank you to these girls because it truly meant alot to me! love ya'll!

Well it has been exactly 12 days since we took Kacen's paci away and I got to say I was bracing myself for the worst. Totally didn't get what i was expecting. We took it away on a Thursday and it was like he never remembered having a paci. I guess he was ready to give it up. I am so thankful to God for giving me such a beautiful and wonderful son. He always does so good with transitions. His bottle was nothing, took it away at like 10 months and he's been sleeping through the night in his bed since he was 2 months!! I am truly greatful to have such a wonderful son!!

Well, not till July, 94 days to be exact. We're going to Clearwater, FL. This will be Kacen's first trip to the beach and he is going to love it. I can't wait for him to see dolphins and the ocean and take pictures of course. I'm super excited that i'll get some really good ones of us on the beach.

We had so much fun when we went 2 years ago when i was preggo. We went on a dolphin tour and it was amazing. I had never been so close to a dolphin and they were beautiful! This is one of the pictures i took while on the dolphin tour boat.

AAAAHHHHH rest and relaxation...yeah right. More like running after Kacen LOL, but it's totally worth it he'll never forget it!

As you can tell, I go back and forth on what I'm into at the time. Right now jewelry just isn't something i've been into for a while now and I will still do a few things for my photography customers but I'm trying to focus more on my photography right now and of course my baby boy. I am loving every minute of being a stay at home mom and know this is just where i belong. I realize now that i missed so much when i was at work but it's not always possible to stay home. After all we all have bills right! Anyway I am dedicating this page to my family, my feelings, new crafts I may be working on and who knows maybe a little of the old stuff.
